It's That Time Again.....

The deadliest catch is on again all new season, I'm so happy!!! (insert happy dance) The Time Bandit is my favorite because lets face it Jonnathan & Nick Hillstrand are crazy. They keep us entertained with there jokes, pranks, and stories. It just amazes me that men will actually go out and do this job? But what I want to see is a boat called "Crazy Ladies" now that would be interesting, talk about pumping up the volume. We all know some women that could handle this or at least seen some.

Women Seeking Spring

I went grocery shopping today and picked up a bunch of baby rose's and put small vases of flowers all over the house. It sure helps the cold "winter" blues.

We have had so much rain! what a God send to this area our desert sure does need it. But it is so cold. I had to get this shot of the rainbow after a good rain, it was beautiful. Have a great wkend all!

Growing up with Grammy

I took my Grand kids to our usual every 2 months jaunt for the day, first to Mc Donald's for food and climbing all around inside the tubes for play time. Then we were off to get a toy from Toys R Us, I don't buy for them very often so it's nice to get them something special. Alexis got a kitten that purrs and rolls over to it's back and puts it paws up so you will pet it's stomach. It's eye's move and it's just beautiful and also "Baby" was loving it. Trevin was mostly happy with my i-phone, there's game's to be played you know. Trevin got a walking robot that's rotates his head and ears and is loud and obnoxious as hell! My poor son and his wife said "thanks a lot" just joking though. Win some ya lose some.

I caught Alexis having a stare down with Kitty, she loves her. We had lots of fun and watched a movie together with snacks and cuddling. They always make me so happy and then it was off the next day to Portland so they could see there Grandma Kathy and Randy. They get to go to the zoo and see all the wonderful animals and there so excited. Hope your day was great.

Getting Started

I bought this little bistro table and chairs for the balcony, isn't it cute. Notice at the bottom I have the table bungees hooked to the rails, and after the other night when at 2:00 a.m. the chairs went flying into the rails missing the low windows by inches, I now have to anchor them too! I never wanted to live on a Mountain top and that's the reason why. But I'm to darn tired, old, and broken down to move again so "Deal with It!" The neighbors put fertilizer on 2 weeks ago, look at it compared to ours! so my husband fertilized today and we just got the irrigation turned on so hopefully we'll catch up in a week.

I really got in the mood since the sun was shinning and ran to the Home Depot to get started with my planting. I got some box woods to put in some planters and Lavender, Hostas, and the weird plant I love but cannot for the life of me ever remember it's name? I pulled all my pots out today and cleaned them all up and all the Geraniums survived yay!

Farmer Brown has been busy in the canyon for a month now tilling and planting.

We are starting to grow again, there are four house's across the street and my Father is going to start his home for sale on this side of the street just below us. With these house's we lost half of our city lights, and once Pops builds his it will all be gone! I told him if he see's me out on the balcony he better duck because I'm going to be shooting at his workers :) I guess my Mountain just ain't high enough! Morel of the story it's good to be a Surf

April Fools Joke

Here's a great April Fools Trick (I know because my then 12 year old did this to me) If you have an old styled facet like this one get some clear scotch tape and tape the "Sprayer button down" next person that turns the water on for a drink will get drenched. I was jumping all over the place before I figured out to turn the dam water off :/ then it took awhile to figure it out cause the tape was clear and I couldn't see it. Down the hall I heard a snicker coming from my son's room so I took a cup of water and ran down to his bedroom and drenched him! Oh yeah you heard me right "Alls fair in love and war" Have fun!!

Lost But Not Forgotten

Elizabeth Taylor passed away today, not just a pretty face she did so much for the A.I.D.S. foundation. And in lieu of flowers she wants donations to the aids problem. I loved her in "Who's Afraid Of Virgina Wolf" and "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" with "Paul Newmen" that's where she showed her true talent. She lived life to the fullest! Good Bye Liz

Wow i phone

Well I put it off long enough and went and got the new i phone for me and my son and husband. Whew! expensive for 3 of um. But my husband and me should never need another one ever! (never say never or ever) I'm learning a lot and I can actually see the letters and numbers now and the phone pad is not so sensitive like my old one. I get my e-mail and can post on my Blog and FB, I am up town now! (please excuse pic I didn't do my hair today) :/ I was watching You tube videos and "Baby" was howling at the little kid laughing, that was a hoot. I have driving directions and everything, love that since I get lost all the time :/ Anyhoo I hope you all have a great week.

My son Brandon just sold his truck and bought this hot looking Mustang from his Uncle, Mark is wonderful with cars and he's had a couple of years with this beauty. He brought it down this weekend from Olympia Wa. It is pristine let me tell you any little thing Mark makes it right. Heck I would love to have this little toy to play with, but I don't think he'd let me drive it :/

Glorious Spring is in the air

It its beautiful out today 54 degrees and the sun is shinning brightly, time to get out all the mowing items and get the dead grass out of the lawn, fertilize and sharpen all the tools. I'm so ready as are all of you I'm sure, February is the hardest month for me. But the birds are chirping and the hawks are floating in the canyon which is so fun to watch.

Sing in the rain.....

We have had two days of rain and it has been a welcoming site, all the farmers are tilling up there fields around us and the dirt has been something else. I was on the highway and had to drive through a dirt storm which was a tad scary.

Wonderful glorious rain, hope we get more and alleviate some of the other states that have had to much. Hope your week is going well girls.

Life Is Soooo Good!

What a great weekend I'm having I got to run the store and watch my sister do everything by herself! Ahh there is justice after all those youthful days when she picked on me relentlessly. Came home and was so tired I slept 4 hours! Dang I could not believe that. Now as you can see I'm just chilling on the couch :)

Well I don't quite look like "Jewel" here but I am on a cane now and most of the time I don't need that. It still feels like a giant tooth ache but hey I'm on my way to walking normal again. Thanks to all for the well wishes and the helpful hints. Have a great week end all!!

Rest, Relaxation = Stir Crazy

This is what my foot looks like, well kinda my foot is not quite this hairy ha! It feels like this looks though. Coming up on my fourth day after surgery and I still can't put my weight on it yet, it's so frustrating to not be able to walk, my other leg could not support me on crutches so we had to go out and get a cheap wheel chair. Man it's just sucks to be dependant on others for your simple needs :/ The swelling is hard to keep down cause i hate cold feet. So I'm plugging along and wishing i was here

Lounging on the beach looking at my pretty healthy feet! uh again not my feet, mine will never look this pretty. So I have asked the healing Mermaid for a quick healing. And I think she heard me? In the mean time i have been watching "American Idol" and man it's so great to see all these young people singing there hearts out. I find it so uplifting and joyous and we get to vote on line for the first time, so I voted for the country singer tonight and of course I forgot his name but he is country through and through. Even if he doesn't win I think someone will record him. The rocker kid is a natural also and the jazz singer is awesome! So hard to choose, we sit and critique each and every one we are the judges! then I laughed and said "Listen to me putting this kid down I can't even sing" my husband said "Hell I cant even breathe" Ha! So good luck to all these future artists!!!
