Bleeding Hearts

We thought we lost this last year, but here it is. My son Brandon who is 17yrs thought this was the coolest plant ever! (I wonder if it's because he's in love?) So I brought him one to plant from Burien Wa. last year.

Love that Vintage

I just got this in the mail today! There from http://fadedplains.blogspot.com/ anytime I order from Andrea Dickerson I'm never disappointed. She does wonderful work and the packaging is done so well as not to let anything get broken. This are "Music Sheet Pinwheels" and they are made very well. She always adds a packet of goodies too. So nice!

This is a creamer and sugar with luscious pink roses.

"i eh 2!!" Happy Birthday to my Grandson Trevin. He hit the big 2 today and really loved his party. He awoke from his nap and saw all these people in his house and buried his head into Momma's shoulder. He played shy for awhile and then Grammy gave him his balloons and he started bonking people with them. Good way to get the party started, Grandpa came in and gave him a scoop of frosting with his finger and boy you should have seen the smiles that boy gave. "Bad Grandpa, leave the cake alone" Once he saw his presents it was history, one happy boy. He got lots of tools to play with (just like Dad's) but once the tiny chain saw came out, he would not have anything to do with opening more presents. He now has a saw just like Daddy's so he can go up to the mountains next trip and cut his own firewood!

I found this plate in "Strawberry California" years ago. Ever heard of that place? When I was there 20 years ago, it was high in the mountains with a population of about 200 people. I went there to work for about 3 months until my job was finished. Cute town with one store and really awesome cabins for rent. There was snow skiing and summer months the cabins were full.

Here's a "Cracker Clock" I bought at Levinworth Wa. I have a thing about clocks, and lamps!

This armoire was given to me by my sister years ago. It's solid wood and heavy as all get out.

Tulips!

Finally a shot of some tulips, it's a glorious day out and the sun is shinning brightly. All of a sudden my Tulips took off and showed themselves today.


In the foreground are my Lilacs coming along, background shows the Cherry orchard in bloom! I'm so spoiled here to have this wonderful orchard in my backyard and it's not mine. So I don't have to take care of it. But the manager "Mario" always gives us plenty to eat.

The Forsythia has been blooming for about a week and a half now.

Spring has finally Sprung

This is Monday April 13th Much fuller. If you blow this picture up you will see the big bee busy doing his work. I'm like oh cool I have a bee to take a picture of. "Oh the miracle of spring" as soon as I took this picture he shot dead straight into my head! I took off running into the house yelling "you !$%* bee!" ahh life's little moments.

Some Hyacinths

Daffodils all over the front and back. There so happy looking in the spring I just have to smile. Flowers remind us that we need to stop and smell the roses, so to speak. To find the spiritual loving side of us all. They have a way to make you listen to Mother Earth and remind us that we are spiritual people full of life. They can cause us to relax and reflect on what we have and give us peace and Harmony and also the wonderful sound of silence. So God can whisper in our ears that we are loved and he holds us near to him. He's telling us the right path to go on to help people and reach out a loving hand to those in need. To help them find there way in this God for saken world of ours. To help me become a better person to all people and let them see that God is the only way to help us all.

New Property

It was raining and overcast so the pictures aren't real clear, but this is the property we just purchased. It over looks this beautiful valley.


Were on top where the house will be and there's a canyon right behind us, so no one can built behind us ever! So the adventure begins!

This is the area were moving too. This is the house I wanted to buy (sold) but we have to sell ours first, and these houses are going fast. So now we have decided to buy the land (since it is going like hotcakes) and built our own house. That's something I have never done before because I think I will probably have to bump off my husband during this time. (it's a joke!) We just don't see eye to eye on much. But trust me I win most of the time :)

Fondant Cakes-yummy!

These if you can believe it, are cakes! I'm searching desperately for this site I found with the most glorious cakes I have ever seen. FOUND IT !!! http://wildflowersbylori.com/She does the finest work I've seen. Every leaf, flower, and stamen are made of fondant. How perfect in the garden for a special Birthday girl, wedding, etc. This bottom hat box is my favorite!

Little Things

I took my old Violin from the 80's and stripped it of the old flowers and put lace on and new leaves and flowers, some feathers, moss (real stuff) and you know I'm not sure if I like it or not?? I hate it when I do that. But it's better than it looked and I had fun doing it. So as long as I had fun I guess that's all that matters.


This is one of those wooden little plaques you can buy at "Michael's", I just painted it and distressed it some and put a bow on it. The flowers are a little rub on, and you hang it by the bow. It has a whole at the top so you can put long ribbon and hang it on the wall or use it for multiple art projects. It would be cute on the front of a dresser. And why this ribbon looks peach I will never know? because its a soft pink just like the flowers. It's funny because I have this ribbon on other craft projects I've done and it always photographs "peach" Freaky!!

Cake Plate

I finally found the cake plate I wanted for my craft room, I found it in Sundays flyer at Fred Meyer on sale.


How shall I decorate it? So many options. A bowl full of Katie's tea roses?

No too small of a lamp

Colors match but no don't think so.

Easter bunny in a shoe? Naw, By the time I got the cake stand all of the cloche's were gone! So now I have to find one. But I love the cake plate its soft green and aged on the edges. I will find the perfect thing or things on it. I have so many special things already I just have to dig in my closet and find it. I'll probably find it when we move.
