Family Matters

One thing my husband was able to do while visiting relatives in Hawaii was to get some history and pictures. This is his Grandmother "Emily" with his Father standing next to her.

They called this gentleman "The Swede" and that's all the family knows, married to a Hawaiian lady.

This is Darrell's Great Grandmother

Grandfather "Peter Lawrence Pacheco" he obviously liked being a cowboy.

Grandpa Pacheco with his Model T. My husbands history is very rich being from Hawaii, his Father Al did not own a pair of shoes until he was in the 9th grade. Who needs shoes in Hawaii anyway! He and some of his cousins were getting into trouble so the Fathers took them to sign up for the Army. "Al" became a career army man, Retired Sgt. Major and Darrell's brother Mark followed in his Dad's foot steps. Being deployed to Iraq and doing his duty. He is home now retired and repairing military helicopters. There heritage is Portuguese and they are a beautiful people.
