I'm off to Burien Washington again to see my Buddy Darrell. A barbeque is waiting on my arrival. (Yum!) And this time I'm going prepared because last time I got lost! Not anymore, I'm taking Tom with me so he can show me the way. Cause lets face it, I can get lost in a elevator.

important in life. They remind us to love one another and be gentle and kind to each other. The most important thing in this life are animals and flowers. They teach us that this is all there is and ever will be. Take heart because this is all life is about. God is showing us the way to live and be happy and to help our fellow man. We are but a blink of an eye on this planet. Kinda makes ya go hum???

I'm one years old today!!

My grand baby is finally one! He had a great time except he kept wanting to fall asleep. He got to see his first baby his age and he was scared to death of this baby. It was really funny to see that. He got to eat this tiny cake his Mom made with the top having red frosting. He had frosting all over his face and looked like a clown. Of course I didn't get a shot of that one.

Freinds are what life is all about

I just visited my oldest & dearest best friend, who I hadn't seen in 19 years!! So nice to visit Burien, Wa. and have rain for a change. I love the rain! It was wonderful seeing him again and catching up on 19 years. He's just the greatest guy and was like a big brother to me when I was young and a single mom of a little boy. I was so insecure to be on my own and he lifted me up when I needed it. He taught me so many things about life and he was a wonderful teacher to me. It was the biggest growing period in my life time, and to him I am grateful. Love you big Brother Darrell !!

Play Room

Just starting to get things back together. I have

to get new blinds and curtains. Soft lace sounds

nice. I let this project undone for years, you have

no idea how much stuff I had to take out of here.

But now its clean and fresh and wonderful, well

worth it. I also took out the day bed which will

allow me to actually walk in here. I'm going to

get an old kitchen hutch like so many of you do

and put it on my nice new blank wall.

O.K. I'm starting to paint the dirtiest play room in the city. I use to smoke in here for years until I kicked myself outside. Something you could never have convinced me I would ever do! Got the paint color I wanted after the second try (so many greens!) and now Im done. Now on to decorating! My favorite part.
